I went with my kids to PE last week for a few days, to watch their behavior and the gym teacher's reaction to it. (Long story. I got to be the fly on the wall.) On Friday, I watched my kids play dodgeball and started thinking about how much I love all of these little beings. Sean got hit in the face with a ball, and laid on the ground and didn't get up for a bit. I ran across the gym and grabbed him. He sat with me for awhile and then was ready to go back out and play. I'm absolutely nuts about these kids, and the thought of leaving them in June and probably never seeing most of them again got me all choked up. Thursday was such a challenging day at school, but I think it was more me than them. Friday was so nice, though. I'll really miss them. All of them.
Zac and I went to look at a two bedroom apartment and townhome, and filled out an application. I think that that'll be good. I'm working on finding a subletter, but I still have a month and I've had some activity already. My apartment might start getting a bit cheaper in the next couple of weeks, though.
I'm going to Milwaukee tonight for the first time since Christmas. I'm looking forward to it-- I'm going to go see Beth's place, give her her Christmas/birthday/housewarming gift that I bought awhile back, and I'm going to spend some time with my family. It'll be good.
