Ten minutes before I start my hour which will be worth $10 liasoning.

I realize that I, too, do not really know the definition of "practicum" and look it up.
Practicum (n.): A school or college course, especially one in a specialized field of study, that is designed to give students supervised practical application of previously studied theory. Ah, it makes sense. I figured it was derived from the same word as practice. As they are so similar.

I was only a few minutes late to music today. Courtney laughed, but I was not the last person there. Success!

Overwhelmed, yet calm, cool, confident and reflective. I've only got two weeks (okay, so it's really three, but by this point on Mondays I already feel like my week's nearly over) of school left. Very achievable.

I decided (on the drive to move my car from the parking garage to Bowen Ct where I found a very nicely placed two hour parking spot) that I need a certain level of stress in life. It makes me do things, and I can't feel good about anything unless I'm at least slightly productive. I haven't decided yet what I want to work on during my paid hour where I may get a question or two. I think school. My portfolio can wait another week or two to be added to.

Maybe when I buy hair dye next, I will splurge and get some Christmas lights as well. Then I can sit in my living room with a cup of hot chocolate, a plate of cookies, a blanket, and read a book in the light of the lights and beneath the shadow of my cut snowflakes. At night. When it's snowing. I suppose that could happen without lights, though. :)

Life holds many things to look forward to, which makes me happy. As does living in the now.

And now I will work.

i lurve specialized words like "practicum" - i remember how you and sean used to say it all the time around me and i had no clue what you were talking about. weee!

stop being late to music, that is naughty. what did you learn in music class, dawn?

I'm soooo excited that schoooool's almost over! Way to go! the end is in sight! (thanksgiving screwed me up a little and I forgot a lot of hindi, but i might know enough to get by the last couple of weeks)

did someone say BOWEN COURT? That has got to be the most beautiful court in the universe. I wish I could live on that street.

stress makes the world go round. if we were all hippies sitting in fields, plucking petals off of flowers, I doubt much would be accomplished. oh erin, shut up.

hair dye --- doooo you dye it red? me confused. haha it's funny that you're still thinkin' bout the christmas lights. i guess you truly want them. get them, darn you!

teach me how to live in the now.
and the know!
